About
David John Barbers is a men's barbershop on Suffolk Parade, Cheltenham, closed Mondays and Sundays, with a dry cut at £25 and a fade at £28. The address is 31 Suffolk Parade, GL50 2AE, in the Suffolks. The rest of the price list, taken from the shop's own site on 7 September 2026: wash and cut £26, restyle from £27, a one-grade clipper cut from £14 and two grades and up from £15, beard trim from £11, cut and beard trim £35, and over-65s and under-10s both £19. Where the site is not reliable is its opening hours. Checked again on 7 September 2026, the homepage carries three separate blocks of times and they disagree with each other on every trading day. One gives Tuesday and Wednesday 8am to 6pm, Thursday 9am to 7.30pm, Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 7.30am to 2pm. The other two give Tuesday and Wednesday 9am to 6pm, Thursday and Friday 8.30am to 7pm, and Saturday 8.30am to either 4pm or 4.30pm. A survey of the shopfront recorded a fourth version again: Tuesday 8.30am to 6pm, Wednesday 9.30am to 4pm, Thursday 8.30am to 7pm, Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 7.30am to 2pm. Saturday is the one to ring about on 01242 571739, because the published closing times for it range from 2pm to 4.30pm, a two and a half hour spread. The price list contradicts itself once too: juniors over 10 are £12 in one block and £21 in another. It does traditional and modern cuts, beard grooming and shaves, takes online bookings and runs a loyalty scheme.
